Private Urology in Wrexham, Chester & Shrewsbury
Consultant-led assessment and treatment for prostate, kidney, bladder and men's health conditions.

Enlarged Prostate (BPH)
An enlarged prostate, also known as benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), is a common cause of urinary symptoms in men. I provide comprehensive assessment and discuss treatment options ranging from lifestyle measures and medication to minimally invasive and surgical treatments, depending on your symptoms, prostate size and individual circumstances.

HoLEP & Laser Prostate Surgery
HoLEP (Holmium Laser Enucleation of the Prostate) is an advanced minimally invasive laser treatment for men with urinary symptoms caused by an enlarged prostate. It can provide effective and durable relief from bladder outlet obstruction, including for men with larger prostates. I offer specialist assessment to determine whether HoLEP or another treatment option is most appropriate for you.

Kidney Stones Management
Kidney and ureteric stones can cause severe pain, blood in the urine and recurrent urinary problems. I offer specialist assessment and treatment of urinary stones, including minimally invasive endoscopic procedures and laser stone treatment where appropriate. Treatment is tailored to the size, location and characteristics of the stone.

Blood in Urine (Haematuria)
Blood in the urine, whether visible or detected on a urine test, should be properly assessed to identify its cause. I provide specialist investigation of haematuria, which may include urine tests, imaging and flexible cystoscopy where appropriate. The aim is to establish the cause promptly and provide appropriate reassurance or further treatment.

Urinary Tract Infections (UTI)
Recurrent or troublesome urinary tract infections can have a significant impact on quality of life and may sometimes indicate an underlying urinary tract problem. I provide specialist assessment of recurrent and complicated UTIs, with appropriate investigations to identify contributing factors and develop an individualised treatment plan.

Urological Cancer Assessment & Diagnostics
I provide specialist assessment of symptoms and findings that may raise concerns about urological cancer, including prostate, bladder, kidney and testicular conditions. Where appropriate, investigations such as PSA testing, imaging, cystoscopy and other specialist tests can help establish a diagnosis and determine the most appropriate next steps.

Circumcision & Scrotal Surgeries
I provide assessment and surgical treatment for a range of foreskin and scrotal conditions. This includes circumcision for appropriate medical indications as well as procedures for selected scrotal conditions. Every patient is assessed individually, with treatment and expected recovery discussed before surgery.

VasectomyÂ
Vasectomy is a permanent method of contraception for men who are certain they do not wish to father children in the future. I provide private vasectomy consultations with detailed counselling about the procedure, alternatives, effectiveness, risks and the possibility of future regret before proceeding.
